The oldest label attached to this specimen, it lists the date of collection or archival (this is not made clear). Listed as 1927, eight years before Carpenter described the species, Arnold Hodson is named as the individual who collected it. Coordinates seem to be given.
Two typed labels - one a repeat of the above label - are followed by a handwritten label. The first seems to list an old genus and subspecies name attributed to this butterfly. The handwritten label gives the sex of the butterfly - male - and its Latin name.
This last label, the newest, is undated. It appears to be similar to the labels given to the other specimens circa 2006. It gives the name of the butterfly and its organizational number, which includes the use of a fraction. Oxford names the place where this butterfly is held.
